The Washington Times - December 27, 2008, 03:07PM

Seattle is not only a cool city because part of my family lives there but because I can always find stories in that city. Sooo, I will go public Monday on local radio and signing my latest book. Here is the invite:

Please come to a booksigning party
            For Julia Duin’s latest book
“Quitting Church: Why the Faithful Are Fleeing and What to Do About It”
            from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29
Harvest Logos Bookstore, 115 N. 85th St. near Greenwood St.,
Seattle, Washington, 98103
        www.harvestlogos.com/ (206) 781-8725
Several Seattle authors: Tom Sine, Gib Martin, Kimberlee Conway, Jon Sween and Richard Dahlstrom will be selling books as well.
Refreshments will be served. Authors will discuss their work.

Note to you all - These are all evangelical Christian authors, so it should be quite a party! I have interviewed Tom Sine - a futurist - for The Times but am not as familiar with some of these other authors. I’ve written about Gib Martin’s son-in-law - Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church in Seattle. We should have some good discussions.

This will also be the first time I’ve met Dave Ross, who is said to be quite the local talk-show host. So I hope you can all listen in and maybe even drop by the bookstore.
