New branding for White House press room

President Obama’s aides this morning offered some more change for the Brady Briefing Room.

On each side of the podium where Press Secretary Robert Gibbs briefs reporters was a flat screen displaying the date.

But this morning there’s a new message in bright letters: WHITEHOUSE.GOV.

The screen is to the left of the podium, and the screen that used to be on the right side was put away.

Josh Earnest joked the two screens were “overkill,” and that the pitch for the Web site is a “New media versus old media” kind of thing.

Kind of reminds me of how Hillary Clinton used to mention her Web site every time she made a speech on election night.
