SUNRISE, Fla. | Alexander Semin and Roman Hamrlik both joined the Washington Capitals on their road trip, but both will miss Monday night’s game at the Florida Panthers.

Semin did not take part in line rushes at the morning skate. He seemed to indicate he was not in the lineup. Officially, Dale Hunter said it was a game-time decision.

“He’s ready to go,” the coach said. “So we are going to make a game-time decision who’s going to sit out.”

Semin was not on the ice for warmups, an indication that he will miss his second straight game.

Semin (five goals, five assists, minus-4 rating, 32 penalty minutes) is on pace for just 36 points.

Hunter ruled Hamrlik out. This will be his third straight game out with a lower-body injury.

“He’s not going to go,” Hunter said. “He’s day-to-day.”
