It’s mostly a week of drills, but for the hockey-crazed, here’s some information about next week’s Caps development camp:
Nineteen prospects will take part in the camp – Monday July 11 to Saturday July 16 at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington (full roster below).
All four 2011 Caps draft picks will take part – fourth-rounder Steffen Soberg, fifth-rounder Patrick Koudys, sixth-rounder Travis Boyd and seventh-rounder Garrett Haar. As will stud defensive prospect Dmitri Orlov and recently signed forward Mattias Sjogren, who at 23 will be the oldest player there.
Arguably the Caps’ most NHL-ready prospect, Cody Eakin, will also be in attendance.
