The Washington Capitals are 3-7-1 in their past 11 games, and questions are easier to come by than answers. So far, they haven’t called up Mattias Sjogren from the Hershey Bears as a possible solution.

It’s not certain if that’s what agent Ritch Winter – who represents Sjogren – was trying to say in a Twitter message about the team:

“Washington is quickly becoming a graveyard for good NHL players. Bad contracts, bad signings, bad management are killing Ted’s dream. 2 bad,” he posted on Twitter Sunday morning. The message was deleted shortly after.

Reached via email about the comment and asked if he had anything to add, Winter declined to elaborate.
