Jay Beagle’s status with a suspected concussion doesn’t appear to be getting any better, or any worse. Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau said Saturday there was “no change” in Beagle’s status.

But there’s a change in how the team is referring to Beagle’s availability – now week-to-week.

“It’s just that he’s been off for a week now so when he does come back, it’s going to take him at least a week to get back into shape” Boudreau said. “That’s why, if anything, we’ve moved instead of day-to-day to week-to-week.”

Beagle has now missed eight straight Caps practices.
