BOSTON | Bruins coach Claude Julien said his team “dodged a bullet” because David Krejci getting hit by a pane of glass after Thursday night’s win could’ve been much worse.
He had a sore neck Friday and missed practice, but he’ll be in Boston’s lineup for Game 2 Saturday afternoon against the Washington Capitals.
“Kretch should be fine, I talked to him this morning; he looks good,” linemate Rich Peverley said early Saturday afternoon. “So, I haven’t really thought about it since.”
Krejci took part in pregame warm-ups at TD Garden and did line rushes with Milan Lucic and Peverley. He was on the official roster report released before the game.
