TAMPA, Fla. | Alex Ovechkin is in Florida with the Washington Capitals, even doing some line rushes. But Tuesday night he’ll serve the second of his three-game suspension.

Ovechkin took rushes in place of Matt Hendricks, who appeared to come on the ice late but wasn’t showing any ill-effects from last week’s puck to the ear. He had the ear guard he’s been using for a little while now.

Enforcer Joel Rechlicz was splitting rushes on the fourth line with Jay Beagle.

Full lines:

Marcus Johansson - Mathieu Perreault - Alexander Semin

Matt Hendricks - Brooks Laich - Troy Brouwer

Jason Chimera - Jeff Halpern - Mike Knuble

Joel Rechlicz/Jay Beagle - Cody Eakin - Joel Ward

Karl Alzner - Dennis Wideman

Roman Hamrlik - John Carlson

John Erskine - Dmitry Orlov
