After playing over 114 minutes of hockey on Wednesday night, a day off was a welcome respite for the Washington Capitals.

“You get a break and you have practice tomorrow and still, the fans will see another good hockey game on Saturday afternoon because the guys will be fresh,” coach Dale Hunter said Thursday.

The Caps were back on the ice at 10:30 Friday, with no personnel changes from Game 3.
