Jay Beagle isn’t one of the Washington Capitals’ main culprits for missing morning skates, but the hard-working center was not on the ice Wednesday.

Beagle was the only Caps player not on the ice the morning of Game 6. He blocked an Anton Stralman slap shot at the 2:05 mark of the second period of Game 4 on Monday night.

It’s very possible Beagle plays even if he’s dealing with a nagging injury. Coach Dale Hunter said he’s fine and would play.
