Get your popcorn ready, or at least set your DVR for Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. That’s your chance to watch Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin live on your television.

Ovechkin’s Kontinental Hockey League game for Dynamo Moscow vs. Lev will air on ESPN2 and online on ESPN3. The KHL and ESPN announced earlier in the week the online broadcasts available in the United States and United Kingdom, which has been around for a couple of years, but this is a foray into actual TV airtime.

Steve Levy and Barry Melrose will call the game, which will be re-broadcast in prime time at 8 p.m.

According to the ESPN release, at least seven KHL games will air in the U.S. on one of its outlets. Ovechkin, Ilya Kovalchuk, Evgeni Malkin and Pavel Datsyuk figure to be prominently featured.
