NEW YORK | Why should the Washington Capitals change anything after two whopping wins in Winnipeg? Up front nothing will be different Sunday night at the New York Rangers.

On the ice for the morning skate at Madison Square Garden, the Caps featured the same look as big victories over the Jets. That means Brooks Laich and Mike Green in the lineup together for just the third game this season.

But on the blue line Green could be back to his role as a top-two defenseman. He’s paired with Karl Alzner for the first time since returning from a groin injury.

Braden Holtby stopped 38 of 40 shots the last time he played at the Rangers. He gets the start in goal.

Wojtek Wolski and Aaron Volpatti will again be healthy scratches at forward. Jeff Schultz is out on defense.

Here’s a look at the lines:

Marcus Johansson – Nicklas Backstrom – Alex Ovechkin

Brooks Laich – Mike Ribeiro – Troy Brouwer

Jason Chimera – Mathieu Perreault – Eric Fehr

Matt Hendricks – Jay Beagle – Joel Ward

Karl Alzner – Mike Green

Jack Hillen – John Carlson

Dmitry Orlov – Steve Oleksy
