The Hershey Bears are out of the Calder Cup Playoffs and the Washington Capitals have a hole in their lineup at forward after an injury to Martin Erat, so the team recalled right wings Tom Wilson and Joey Crabb from its AHL affiliate.

Wilson is considered the organization’s No. 2 prospect behind only Evgeny Kuznetsov. He was impressive in the Ontario Hockey League playoffs to earn some brief time with the Bears.

Crabb played most of the season with the Caps before being put on waivers and assigned to Hershey in late March.
