Just wanted to pass on this note from Bill Gluvna, the Nationals’ media relations coordinator and the guru behind all the minor-league updates we get every week. If you’re looking for a place to watch the all-stars from Hagerstown (Washington’s low Class A affiliate) tonight, there’s more information below:

Just a friendly reminder that the Single-A South Atlantic League All-Star Game will be played tonight at 7:00pm ET at NewBridge Bank Park, home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Marlins). Greensboro Sports will provide a live video stream of the game at the following link:

The Hagerstown Suns have three players on the Northern Division roster, including two to the starting lineup. INF Bill Rhinehart will start at 1B OF Michael Burgess will start in RF C Sean Rooney will serve as a reserve

Additional Note: Prior to the All-Star Game, OF Michael Burgess will participate in the SAL Home Run Derby. Burgess ranks 2nd in the league with 14 home runs. The derby will begin at 5:15 p.m. ET, with two preliminary rounds including all seven participants. Each contestant will get 10 outs in the first round and 6 in the second, with the two leaders moving on to the finals. The championship will be held later in the night, following the completion of the second inning of the All-Star Game.
