Strasburg throws no-hitter

We interrupt tonight’s Nats-D’backs game for a moment — Washington leads 5-3 in the sixth thanks to homers by Adam Dunn and Jesus Flores — for this breaking news update from San Diego.

Stephen Strasburg threw a no-hitter tonight in his final home start for San Diego State. The presumptive No. 1 draft pick of the Nats next month struck out 17 Air Force batters, including the side in the ninth, setting off a wild celebration at Tony Gwynn Field.

And guess who was in attendance to see it live? Why none other than Nats acting GM Mike Rizzo and scouting director Dana Brown. Good timing on their part, I should say.
