Well, Ralph Friedgen’s been in a good mood throughout camp.
But when asked specifically if his team managed to escape camp without any serious, long-term injuries to guys who he figured would probably play this year, he produced what constitutes an auto-reply during the season.
“I told you I’m not talking about that,” Friedgen said.
Well, thanks to the power of memory, the two guys who clearly were expected to help that will be out for a while are defensive tackle Travis Ivey (broken foot) and safety Drew Robinson (dislocated shoulder).
Sure, some other guys are nicked up and some other guys were hurt even before camp. But making it through camp without a season-ending injury makes this a decent month for the Terpies.
