Just got this little gem from the PR folks at the WWL.

Bottom line: You won’t need to stake out a place at a sports bar to see Maryland-Delaware on ESPNU, since it will be on the mother ship. That’s because Louisiana State moved up its game against Appalachian State to 11 a.m. to get the game in while also allowing people (and App State) enough time to skedaddle afterward because of the looming Hurricane Gustav.

Here’s the release:

The Appalachian State vs. LSU college football game has been re-scheduled due to Tropical Storm Gustav and will now be televised Saturday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN Classic. ESPN360.com will simulcast the matchup. The game was originally scheduled at 5 p.m. (4 p.m. local time, CT) on ESPN.

ESPN will now simulcast Delaware at Maryland beginning at 3:45 p.m. ET (also airing on ESPNU; simulcast on ESPN360.com).
