One of the truly tricky things about a bowl game is getting ready for a new team.

Unless it’s not really a new team, as is the case for Saturday’s EagleBank Bowl.

That doesn’t mean it’s easy for Wake Forest coach Jim Grobe to prepare for Navy’s triple option offense.

Of course, it’s not like he’s unfamiliar with the scheme.

“I’m probably getting what I deserve because i spent 11 years at the Air Force Academy,” Grobe said. “Then when I was at Ohio University, we were the exact same offense – the spread option offense. It’s really the wishbone but you’ve just put a couple running backs up to slotback. We used to drive people crazy with it, and now we’re being driven crazy by it.”
