Here’s the reason for Braxton Dupree’s DNP tonight.

He missed a class on Monday.

The Terrapins got home around midnight after Sunday’s loss to Georgetown. And it would seem Dupree did what a lot of college students would do in that situation.

But with plenty of eager options in the frontcourt – namely Dave Neal and Dino Gregory – Dupree sat.

Sounds like this was a one-night deal. And while Dupree might not start – and, given the way Neal played, probably won’t start – on Sunday, expect to see him back in a Maryland rotation near you.
