The Maryland basketball team should be sitting down for its pregame meal right about now, so here’s something for all the loyal readers to digest.

Coach Gary Williams said yesterday the Terrapins would use a rotation of about eight or nine guys tonight against Bucknell.

But who will the nine be?

It’s a safe guess that Eric Hayes, Greivis Vasquez and Adrian Bowie will spend much of the night manning two guard spots. Cliff Tucker and Sean Mosley seem like good bets at the three.

In the frontcourt, Landon Milbourne and Braxton Dupree seem certain to play significant roles.

OK, that’s seven. And sure enough, the remaining spots in the rotation will go to some big men.

Jerome Burney, Dino Gregory, Jin Soo Kim and Dave Neal are the realistic remaining options. Burney will help with rebounding and defense, Gregory is steady in effort and consistency, Kim dropped 20 in an exhibition last week and Neal is the lone senior on the roster.

The order in which those guys enter the game could be one of the more telling developments of the night.
