In lieu of a morning briefing, how about a different look at Maryland’s winning streak against ranked teams, which will be on the line tomorrow against No. 17 North Carolina?

Thanks to the ACC’s football media guide, I scoured a section called “ACC vs. AP-ranked teams” to come up with an interesting nugget.

Maryland can tie for the second-longest winning streak over ranked teams in league history with a victory tomorrow.

Now, I’m only counting stretches when a school was in the ACC. So some of those ridiculous runs Miami went on are not included.

But it still leaves room for plenty of Florida State dominance, and unsurprisingly the Seminoles own four of the league’s seven streaks of at least five straight wins over ranked teams.
