Maryland has monopolized the worst moments of the first half.

There was the botched punt snap, a long end around for Carolina, and a tipped pass that turned into a Tar Heel touchdown.

Maryland also produced some of the steadiest moments. The Terps’ passing game has been remarkably solid despite the lousy weather. And, hey, there’s even been a Josh Portis sighting (twice in three plays, actually).

The Tar Heels get the ball to start the second half, and could use a real boost in the passing game. Take out the tipped TD pass, and Cam Sexton is 3-for-8 for 51 yards.
