It’s a running joke, and worth bringing up again – Maryland and Michigan State wind up playing at the same site almost every year.

There was the 2001 Final Four (Minneapolis), the 2002 NCAA tournament (Washington), the 2003 NCAA tournament (San Antonio), the 2004 BB&T Classic (D.C.), the 2005 Maui Invitational (um, Maui), the 2006 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic (New York), the 2007 CBE Classic (Kansas City) and now this week’s Old Spice Classic.
