Just a couple quick injury updates…

Kevin Barnes sublexed his shoulder in the first half. Ralph Friedgen indicated x-rays were negative, but Maryland isn’t quite sure when they’ll have Barnes back. The senior was coming off a concussion at Virginia.

Defensive end Mack Frost sat out with his recurring knee injury. The senior is about a year removed from ACL surgery, and he’s probably not going to be fully healthy at any point this year. Jared Harrell started in his place.

Also, that taking the ball rather than deferring deal? Completely unintentional. So much for a sweet, against-the-grain move there.

More to come much later, but for now it’s time to get cracking on a dead-tree edition story.
