Well, it might be time for Maryland to get creative at strong-side linebacker.

Moise Fokou is fine. But if Adrian Moten has a torn ligament in his wrist, then things could get interesting at the position.

Safety Antwine Perez could move over there – if Terrell Skinner is back from his high ankle sprain.

Dominique Herald worked out there in the spring – but he tore his ACL on Saturday and is done for the year.

The alternatives: Walk-ons Aaron Ball and Femi Akinwande.

As for some other injury updates, plenty of guys could be back this week: Nolan Carroll, Travis Ivey, Drew Robinson, Da’Rel Scott and Skinner. Not joining them on that list: Mack Frost and LaQuan Williams.

More to come in a bit, but gotta work on my dead-tree edition story for tomorrow first.
