I heard someone wanted this rundown, and since constituent service is a big part of what this blog is about, I’m happy to oblige.

That is to say, here’s a rundown of how Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen has fared against each school in the conference since he took over in 2001, along with his current streak against each team:

Duke: 4-0 (1.000); W-4
Miami: 1-0 (1.000); W-1
North Carolina: 4-1 (.800); L-1
N.C. State: 5-2 (.714); W-2
Wake Forest: 5-2 (.714); L-2
Clemson: 4-3 (.571); L-1
Virginia: 4-3 (.571); L-1
Georgia Tech: 3-3 (.500); W-1
Boston College: 1-2 (.333); W-1
Florida State: 2-5 (.286); L-1
Virginia Tech: 0-2 (.000); L-2

You could have won a lot of money from someone early this decade if you said Friedgen would be .500 or better against everyone but Florida State in the pre-expansion ACC as he rolled into his eighth season.
