Ralph unsure about staff changes

Just got into Indy, and caught the final half of Ralph Friedgen’s teleconference with reporters.

When you jump into that sort of situation, you know full well pretty much any truly pertinent question has been asked. So you can get away with asking one repeat, but probably not more.

The choice here: Will there be changes to Maryland’s coaching staff.

Friedgen, understandably, has been a bit busy with things over the last few days dealing with his own fate to figure out much els.e

“I haven’t had a chance to sit down,” Friedgen said. “I don’t want to say offhand right now. I’ve been busy recruiting, telling recruits what the situation is here. Then when I have some time, I’ll sit back and evaluate everything and decide what we’re going to do.”

So with the big question solved, the smaller (but still relevant) question remains: Who, if anyone, will pay a steep price for Maryland’s 2-10 season? It doesn’t create as much uncertainty as Friedgen’s situation, but it’s still something that will be worth monitoring.
