A little look at the plus-minus from Sunday’s game …
It’s about what you’d expect, really. The guys who were on the floor for Villanova’s opening burst generally got hurt the most.
There was some mixing and matching later in the game that helped folks like Eric Hayes and Landon Milbourne. Greivis Vasquez wasn’t hit as hard because he sat with foul trouble for part of the first half.
Breaking it down by starters and reserves, there’s some interesting but expected data:
Starters: -30, 167 minutes
Reserves: -15, 33 minutes
When Maryland had to go to its reserves in the backcourt in particular, it struggled. It’s not a stretch to say that if there are certain guys who the Terps need more out of going forward, it’s them.
