Football schedule coming Thursday

Maryland fans who have been paying just the slightest bit of attention know who the Terrapins will be playing next season.

Out of conference, it’s at Cal (Sept. 5), James Madison (Sept. 12), Middle Tennessee and Rutgers, likely in that order.

In the league, it’ll be home games with Boston College, Clemson, Virginia and Virginia Tech. The Terps will also play Duke, Florida State, N.C. State and Wake Forest on the road.

As to when you can start booking hotel rooms, the ACC says Thursday at 11 a.m. will be the schedule release time.

In case you’re curious about the rest of the ACC’s nonconference schedule, J.P. Giglio of the Raleigh News & Observer has come up with this list to help kill a Tuesday.
