One thing I forgot to post yesterday afternoon, though it was kind of easy to forget.
That’s mainly because it involved something remaining in a holding pattern.
Cornerback Richard Taylor still hasn’t received word on whether he’ll receive a sixth year because of medical hardship.
So if Taylor does get it, he’ll be Maryland’s 13th scholarship senior (as of now). And if he doesn’t, the Terps will be at a dozen (after the departures of Darrius Heyward-Bey and Josh Portis).
In case anyone’s wondering, by my unofficial count, Maryland has 23 scholarships to play with at this point. But given the attrition that usually occurs in any offseason, that number is obviously subject to change.
