What do you know – A Bob Huggins team that’s playing some defense.

With 11 turnovers at the break, Georgetown certainly doesn’t look all that great on offense. But it is the Hoyas’ inability to handle Da’Sean Butler that is really hurting them.

The West Virginia forward has 15 points at the break – or just three points less than the entire Georgetown starting five.

Eventually, the Hoyas will start hitting some 3-pointers (they’re 1-for-7 from outside). But West Virginia merits its five-point lead, and could easily lead by double digits if not for a couple breakdowns in the final minute of the half.

More to come from Verizon Center.
