Heard about something earlier this afternoon that is an entertainingly 21st century way of tackling a problem.

And it didn’t take long to find it on my own, either – a Facebook event called “Show some love to Coach Williams.” In short, it’s a plea to students and fans to show up at tomorrow night’s game at Comcast Center after what has been an unquestionably tumultuous week in College Park.

It’s just another amazing reminder of how much more powerful Al Gore’s Invention has become thanks to social networking sites. If only Facebook was a dominant force when I was still in school seven years ago; we had to settle for the too-short-for-this-world terpidiots.com, which is remains fondly remembered here despite its abbreviated lifespan.
