A basketball schedule nugget finalized today: Georgetown will indeed play Butler in the Jimmy V Classic on Dec. 8 in the 7 p.m. opener of the two-game event. Pittsburgh-Indiana is Game 2.

Maybe this isn’t the most high-profile Jimmy V doubleheader ever – Derrick Rose, O.J. Mayo and Michael Beasley all played in 2007, Stephen Curry was the featured attraction last year – but the Hoyas taking on a likely top-20 (and possible top-15) team makes that a fascinating game.
