Halftime: Duke 32, Maryland 30

ATLANTA – Been sort of sluggish here in the first half at the Georgia Dome; maybe it’s just me, since three days of dome basketball sort of wears on you.

Anyway, Maryland has hung around, and would be ahead if not for yielding a half-dozen 3-pointers in the first half.

The Terps are certainly putting together the showing they needed to not give the selection committee to think twice about them. While it hasn’t been artistry, Duke has endured its share of struggles.

Here’s guessing Duke has one good burst – a 12-2 type run – in them early in the second half, and that a few minutes could make the difference in the end-game.
