ATLANTA – Just got to the airport and getting ready to fly back to Baltimore after spending the last four days at the ACC tournament.

It was a productive trip for some folks, most notably Maryland.

But the Terps will be waiting this one out all the way until the 6 o’clock hour.

When you look at the field, they should be in. Not comfortably, both because the numbers don’t back it up and it wouldn’t be natural for this team to do anything comfortably.

But there are three teams in this projected field that Maryland should earn an invitation ahead of: Saint Mary’s, Wisconsin and San Diego State (maybe even Michigan).

There’s only one phantom bid left out there: Possibly Mississippi State in the SEC.

So the Terps should get in.
