Looks like the rumor of the day is true – Dave Leitao is done at Virginia, per the Richmond Times-Dispatch (as well as Fox Sports).
As a result, the ACC’s coaching roster will have its first change since Skip Prosser’s stunning death two summers ago. It also sends Virginia out to seek a basketball coach for the third time in 11 years.
A little more analysis on that later, but with so few high-major jobs available right now (Alabama, Arizona, Georgia as well), Virginia could manage to lure to a pretty solid candidate.
