Burney out again

← return to D1SCOURSE

Jerome Burney simply cannot catch a break.

The sophomore will sit out tonight’s game against Wake Forest with a right foot injury. It’s the same foot that forced him to miss two months with a stress fracture earlier this season.

So Burney underwent X-rays today, and there’s no word on his long-term availability. He’s averaging 0.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in nine games – but has only played 20 minutes since mid-December.
