FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Cornell didn’t trail in the NCAA tournament – until the very last moment.

It took an absolutely miraculous play to make it happen.

Kenny Nims, moments after committing a turnover, caused a turnover and then scored with 4.5 seconds left in regulation after taking an over-the-back pass from Matt Abbott to send it to overtime.

Once there, Sid Smith stripped Cornell’s Ryan Hurley of possession and Cody Jamieson scored 80 seconds in to give the Orange their 11th national title.

More to come later, but I’ve got to get down to postgame.
