Just a few quick hits from Maryland before delving deeper into things.

* Chris Turner remains questionable with his left knee injury. Given the number of Jamarr Robinson-related questions today at the press conference, it’s pretty clear media folk are preparing for a different starting quarterback this week.

* Bennett Fulper had his labrum surgery, as expected. The freshman guard is done for the year.

* Demetrius Hartsfield could be back this week. The redshirt freshman linebacker is coming off surgery to fix a broken hand and is expected to practice non-contact today.

* Da’Rel Scott is also returning to practice, but Ralph Friedgen indicated it was unlikely he’d be back to face Virginia Tech.
