Maryland injury report

← return to D1SCOURSE

So the question of the day for Maryland football is whether Ralph Friedgen will be forced into playing running back roulette again this week.

It’s a mixed bag of news on that front. Morgan Green has a groin injury, so he isn’t making the trip to N.C. State. Gary Douglas, despite looking “tentative,” is back for the Terrapins.

So for now, D.J. Adams is the No. 4 running back. And Friedgen, in his do-what-I-gotta-do way, hasn’t ruled out using him.

Green was one of three new names to pass along on the injury report. Tight end Matt Furstenburg and defensive end Carl Russell are both out.

The full rundown:

OUT FOR SEASON

T Tyler Bowen (foot)
CB Nolan Carroll (broken right tibia)
G Bennett Fulper (shoulder)

OUT

TE Matt Furstenburg (leg)
TB Morgan Green (groin)
LB Demetrius Hartsfield (broken hand)
DE Carl Russell (upper body)
TB Da’Rel Scott (broken left radius)

Patrick Stevens
