Halftime: Maryland 6, Virginia 3

Today’s Maryland-Virginia game is one for people who like fumbles, sacks and field goals.

If you want much else, look elsewhere. Because there isn’t much else going on.

Maryland got a pair of Nick Ferrara field goals in the second quarter to take a 6-3 lead.  But the combined numbers, well, they’re not pretty.

Points: 9
Sacks: 4
Fumbles: 4
Total yards: 235
Third down: 4-for-16

In short, not good.

In any case, Maryland isn’t in position to bicker about having a lead at any point. The Terps clearly need this one, and style points don’t matter too much.
