“Gary won’t make the trip,” coach Ralph Friedgen said. “Course Da’Rel [Scott won’t play]. Running backs we’ll take is [Davin] Meggett, [Morgan] Green, [Caleb] Porzel and [D.J.] Adams.”

As for Green?

“He’s had a good week of practice,” Friedgen said. “I’ve been pleased with Morgan. We’ve had a very good week of practice. It may have been one of our best weeks.”

And Porzel?

“We’ve expanded his package, and he’s had a good week of practice, too,” Friedgen said.

* It’s apparently been sort of chippy throughout the week, which is probably a good sign for a 2-5 team.

“It’s been a very physical week, and not  by design by me,” Friedgen said. “There’s been shots taken and given. I think we’re mad right now. So we’ll so how it works out. I think we’re playing faster than we’ve played before.”
