DURHAM, N.C. – It’s an overcast day, which makes it perfect for a Maryland football game.

Some Maryland managers have shown up, so Wallace Wade Stadium isn’t completely empty. Some players have actually arrived, too.

It’s the first time I’ve seen a game in this stadium since 2000. It’s not an unfamiliar place; Duke has media parking on the stadium concourse for basketball. But it’s been a long, long while since covering an event here.

Plenty more to come from what should be a shootout featuring a pair of senior quarterbacks – Maryland’s Chris Turner and Duke’s Thaddeus Lewis.
