DURHAM, N.C. – Maryland’s ACC tournament title – its first since 2005 – might have come at a price.

Junior midfielder Joe Cummings suffered an arm injury while being slashed by Duke defenseman Chris Hipps in the third quarter. Cummings is expected to have X-rays when the team returns to College Park.

Cummings had an assist in Maryland’s 11-9 victory at Koskinen Stadium. He has a team-high 24 goals for the season.
