Maryland wide receiver Adrian Coxson is leaving the program, the eighth player with eligibility remaining to depart College Park since the end of the season.

Coxson had four receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown as a redshirt freshman.

The Baltimore native originally signed with Florida in 2010, but transferred before the end of his first preseason camp.

His best game as a Terp came Oct. 29, when he caught three passes for 78 yards and a score against Boston College.

He is also the 20th player with eligibility remaining to depart the program since coach Randy Edsall was hired in January.
