Loyal readers of the various D1scourse incarnations might be familiar with Project 75, the annual goal to see 75 Division I teams in person throughout the course of a college basketball season.

Last year’s total was 64.

This year’s total is … 68. So that’s progress of a sort.

Yes, it’s a wide-ranging list (Unofficial Project 75 slogan: For every Duke, there’s a Dartmouth), and it included only one Final Four team (Virginia Commonwealth). Still, it was a fun ride – and provides an even greater impetus to somehow scramble to see even more basketball next season.
