Tracking the Bowl-pocalypse: Vol. 6

Mississippi State routed Mississippi in the Egg Bowl on Saturday.

In the process, the Bulldogs became the 70th bowl eligible team, which means the bowl system will have enough teams to invite.

At least one more team will get there – Pittsburgh and Syracuse play next week, with both teams at 5-6. But for now, the biggest issue is the bowl-pocalypse will have to wait for another year.
