Justin Gilbert listed as starter on Terps depth chart

Not a lot of changes on Maryland’s depth chart this week. For those interested, here’s the rundown …

* The biggest difference in the depth chart is at right guard, where Justin Gilbert is listed as a starter over Josh Cary. Meanwhile, De’Onte Arnett switches over to left guard, where he’ll back up Pete White.

Gilbert made his first appearance in more than 13 months in Saturday’s 31-13 loss to Virginia, coming in for Cary in the second quarter and again in the second half. If he starts Saturday, it will be his fourth career start and first at guard.

Cary, a former walk-on, started the first nine games for Maryland this season.

* A non-change: The Terps’ quarterback roulette will continue for another week. Both C.J. Brown and Danny O’Brien are listed as co-starters. It’s the fourth time in five weeks Maryland has opted to place an “OR” at quarterback on the depth chart

* One change on special teams: Tony Logan, who resumed his punt return duties in the middle of the loss to Virginia, is back on top of the depth chart in that area. Ronnie Tyler is listed as his backup.

* Nothing is different on defense, though it’s worth noting there appeared to be more rotation (especially in the secondary) last week than earlier in the season. Trenton Hughes was used more frequently and A.J. Hendy spelled Titus Till in nickel situations.
