Maryland depth chart update: Hughes, Hendy starting

A couple changes on this week’s Maryland depth chart after a minor mix-up. No harm, no foul … though coach Randy Edsall might have been asked about them today. Well, there’s always Wednesday and Thursday.

In any case, two switches …

* Senior Trenton Hughes is listed ahead of Cameron Chism at cornerback. Chism has started 32 consecutive games, the longest streak on the team. Hughes, a mainstay in the lineup last year, has served as Maryland’s nickel back this year but has yet to start.

* Freshman A.J. Hendy is now listed ahead of Titus Till, who started the last six games at safety. Hendy had his most extensive playing time on defense in Saturday’s loss to Virginia and played even more after Till was tagged for a personal foul.
