ANNAPOLIS – Navy took a 19-7 lead into the locker room a bit ago. Here’s three stars from the first half.

* QB Kriss Proctor. The senior rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown (a 75-yard gallop on the first possession) to get the Midshipmen started.

* SB Aaron Santiago. Santiago collected a 13-yard touchdown run to the left side late in the first quarter. He has five carries for 50 yards. He’s just 16 yards shy of his career-high, set last year against Wake Forest.

* K Jon Teague. Sure, he had an extra point blocked. He also connected on a 54-yard field goal late in the first half. That broke the Navy school record that had stood since 1984.
